DEDICATED TEAM EMPLOYED AS COMPANY EXPANDS

A national wood recycling firm has taken on a dedicated sales team to help it expand its services across the country and improve its customer service.

Hadfield Wood Recyclers, which recently opened its third site in Tilbury, Essex, has employed a new “Front End” sales team specifically devoted to sourcing waste wood around the UK.

Tom Atkins, who has been with the company for 18 months, has been promoted to Key Account Manager and is heading up the team. Working alongside him are Paul McIntosh and Craig Pledge.

Hadfield Wood Recyclers produces a range of products from recycled wood including horse, poultry and cattle bedding, equestrian surfaces and biomass wood chip for fuel. It has three sites; Droylsden in Manchester, Redcar on Teesside and Tilbury in Essex.

The company takes waste wood from a variety of sources including local authority civic amenity sites, waste management companies, builders, skip firms, construction sites and furniture manufacturers.

In his new role Tom will handle key national accounts with companies tipping their wood into Hadfields.

He said: “With the team now in place it has given us complete national coverage and we will be able to improve our customer services ten fold. We are keen to develop more national accounts and are looking forward to working hard.”

Paul and Craig both joined the firm last month (Sept). Paul will be covering the north east and north west of England and Craig with cover the Midlands and the south.
