The Manchester-based firm’s sister company UK Wood Recycling (UKWR), won the recycling category at the North East Environment and Energy Awards last month (31st January).
And its equine bedding product easibed, won the export award at a BETA Awards Ceremony on Sunday night (17th February).
Geoff Hadfield, Managing Director of Hadfield Wood Recyclers and UK Wood Recycling, was delighted with the result.
He said: “We work very hard across both the companies and all our animal bedding products to ensure we are top of our game, and I am are delighted that UK Wood Recycling and easibed have been recognised as exactly that.”
UK Wood Recycling was recognised as the best recycler in the Teeside area. The Renew Tees Valley Award was presented to Gary Jones, Site Manager for the company, which is based next to the Wilton International site at Redcar on Teesside.
The BETA (British Equestrian Trade Association) Export Award was presented to Geoff Hadfield and easibed National Sales Manager Ian McColville, at a dinner on Sunday night at the NEC in Birmingham. easibed beat-off strong competition from other equine companies to win UK exporter of the year, for exporting its bedding products to Middle East.
