Hadfield Wood Recyclers will be reminding local authorities and waste management companies that it can take low grade waste wood, when it exhibits at this year’s CIWM conference.
The company specialises in taking all grades of non-hazardous wood waste and manufacturing it into recycled products, something many other wood recyclers can’t do.
Vicki Hughes, Strategic Director, said: “Several local authorities and waste management companies already use us to dispose of their wood waste, which is not only more cost effective than sending it to landfill, but also helps them to achieve their landfill directive targets.
“In addition, because we clean and process the wood waste into recycled products, we can help local authorities to achieve their recycling targets set by the Government. One local authority we work with increased its recycling tonnage from 7,000 tonnes to 30,000 tonnes over two years.”
The company is one of the founder members of wood recycling in the UK and offers a nationwide made-to-measure service for organisations looking to dispose of wood waste.
